Specify the Serial Number of the Radio Unit
Use the Unit Serial Number field on the Radio tab to specify the serial number that applies to this particular Trio radio.
The serial number is factory preset and is unique to each radio unit. The serial number is included in any transmissions to or from the radio.
If the radio you are configuring represents a D Series hot-standby radio, you also need to populate the Second Unit Serial Number field (see Specify the Serial Number of the Second Base Radio in a Hot-Standby Pair).
If you need to replace a Trio radio with another radio unit, remember to update the Unit Serial Number to that of the replacement radio.
