A DF1 Channel provides Geo SCADA Expert with additional connection information so that the server can communicate successfully with Allen-Bradley PLCs using the DF1 protocol.
Specify the properties for a channel using the fields on the DF1 Channel Form.
The Form has several tabs (see Tabs That are Common to Many Configuration Forms in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Simple Drivers).
Use the Channel tab to:
DF1 Channels use RS-232/RS-485 serial communications. Use the fields on the Connection tab to specify the required properties for a channel’s serial connection (see Configure a Channel’s Serial Connection Properties in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Drivers).
