DNP3

DNP3 Specific Colors

Each Geo SCADA Expert system is supplied with a set of default system colors. These colors comprise both ‘core system’ and driver-specific colors. Each color is used to indicate the state of an item in the database. The color is used on various Geo SCADA Expert displays to indicate that the item is in a particular state. This section covers the system colors that are specific to this particular driver. For more information, see the topics that are listed in the gray footer section at the bottom of this topic. Select the relevant entry to display the topic that you require.

NOTE: You can change a default system color by altering its color in the color palette. If you decide to do this, set the new color to be unique so that it is unlikely to be confused with other colors on your system. For information on configuring system colors, see Use the Color Palette to Define a Custom System Color in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Configuration.

Further Information

For information on core system colors, see List of Core System Colors in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Configuration.

The ‘core’ states and corresponding system colors take priority over the DNP3-specific states (see Priority of DNP3 Point Foreground Colors).

For further information about the Historic Lists on which the driver-specific colors might be displayed, see DNP3 Specific Status Descriptions on Historic Lists.
