IIN Status
Associated with: DNP3 master outstations
Each DNP3 outstation reports the status of its IIN Status Bits in every data packet that it sends to its master. For each IIN Status Bit that is set, an IIN Status attribute is displayed. The attribute indicates which IIN Status Bit(s) are indicating a problem, or the result of the last command, and the time that bit was set.
The IIN Status attribute displays information in the form:
<IIN Status Bit> at <dd/MMM/yyyy HH:mm:ss.SSS>
where the <IIN Status Bit>
might be any of the following:
- Device Trouble
- Configuration Corrupt
- Outstation Busy (for instance, a Pulse Action or Control is in progress)
- Parameter Out-of-Range
- Invalid Object
- Unsupported Function.
Example:
Parameter out-of-range at 10/Aug/2013 09:12:44:330
Any IIN Status bits that can raise an alarm in Geo SCADA Expert are also listed as separate alarm attributes (for instance, the Configuration Corrupt Alarm attribute).
