Security permission required to access this pick action: Disable Alarms
Use the Enable Alarm Reporting pick action to:
- Allow an outstation to start generating events for a point on which the Disable Alarm Reporting pick action has been used
and:
- Enable alarms on the point in Geo SCADA Expert. As such, any new or existing alarms are no longer withheld from alarm and other displays in Geo SCADA Expert. (For more information, see Enable Alarms in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Alarms.)
On a PSTN outstation, use this pick action to trigger Geo SCADA Expert to dial out to the outstation, and request that event generation is enabled for this point.
The point or pulse action’s Alarm Reporting status attribute indicates whether alarm reporting is currently enabled on that item.
