Associated with: DNP3 SCADAPack E outstations, other than DNP3 SCADAPack Remote DNP3 Devices; DNP3 SCADAPack points and pulse actions.
This status attribute indicates whether an item is currently On Scan or Off Scan.
An outstation and/or its points can be placed Off Scan using the Off Scan pick action. An Off Scan outstation can be placed back On Scan using the On Scan pick action. (An Off Scan point or pulse action can only be placed back On Scan independently if the outstation on which that point or pulse action resides is still On Scan.)
With a point or pulse action, a Scanning attribute state of ‘Off Scan’ can indicate that either the point/pulse action or the outstation is Off Scan.
With an Off Scan outstation, to ascertain whether that outstation’s points and pulse actions are Off Scan, check the Scanning attribute for some of those points or pulse actions.
