The Hilscher driver supports Analog Input and Analog Output points.
Configure the properties for each analog point using the appropriate Point Form. Choose from:
- Hilscher IO Image Analog Point—Represents analog data on Hilscher devices that are on a DeviceNet or PROFIBUS-DP network.
- Hilscher Profibus FMS Analog Point—Represents analog data on Hilscher devices that are on a PROFIBUS-FMS network.
This section covers configuration of properties on the Hilscher tab of each Form. Use the Hilscher tab to:
- Configure the General Point Properties
- Configure Point Scaling
- Define Significant Change Properties (see Define the Criteria for a Significant Change in Value in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration).

If the point is an output point, you also need to enable and configure the properties on the Control tab—for information, see Define the Control Settings for an Analog Output Point in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration. Optionally, you can also use the Control Checks tab to configure the Control Checks settings (see Configuring Control Checks Settings in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration).
