Use the Acceptable Scan Interval to define the maximum acceptable time period for the completion of the Primary and Secondary scans. If the scans exceed the Acceptable Scan time, then the Quality Factor (if used) is decreased by 1 (see Quality Factor).
Specify the interval using the Acceptable Scan field on the Form(s) for the Channel(s) via which each outstation communicates (see Define the Permitted Scan Durations). When defining the Acceptable Scan, you need to consider the Recommended Settings for Scan Durations.
