Configuring Counter Points
The Kingfisher driver supports Counter Points. A counter point is a point that accumulates a value over time.
Configure the properties of each counter point using the fields on the Kingfisher Counter Point Form.
This section covers configuration of properties on the Count tab of the Form.
Use the Count tab to:
- Configure Common Point Properties
- Configure Alarm Limit Properties
- Configure Format Properties (see Define the Appearance of a Counter-Type Point’s Values in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure Override Properties (see Define Whether a Counter-Type Point can be Overridden in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure Significant Change Properties
- Configure the No Change Properties (see Detect whether a Counter-Type Point has Stopped Changing in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure Trend Properties (see Define a Counter-Type Point’s Trend Settings in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure the Logged Data Properties (see Log Point Data on Kingfisher Outstations).
For information about fields on other tabs, see Tabs on Point Forms in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Advanced Drivers.
