Use the Historic Data Poll Interval field on the Lufkin SAMS tab to specify the frequency with which Geo SCADA Expert retrieves historic point data from the controller.
Enter the interval in the OPC Time Format, or specify 0 to disable automatic polling.
A suitably configured Lufkin SAMS point has to exist in the database for each item of historic point data that Geo SCADA Expert is to retrieve from the controller (see Points Used on Lufkin SAMS Controllers).
