Use the Upload Event Log pick action to upload to Geo SCADA Expert the entries that are stored in the controller’s Event Log. The pick action enables Geo SCADA Expert to upload multiple events at a time, should more than one event exist in the controller’s Event Log at the time that the pick action is triggered. Geo SCADA Expert stores the controller’s events in the Event Journal. Each controller event:
- Is assigned the Event Severity that is specified on the Lufkin SAMS Outstation Form (see Define the Severity of Lufkin SAMS Controller Events)
- Retains the time stamp that indicates when the controller logged the event in its Event Log.
The controller’s Last Outstation Event status attribute provides information about the latest controller event that Geo SCADA Expert has uploaded (see Lufkin SAMS Controller Status Attributes).
NOTE: If using this pick action with the Automation Interface, you need to specify the method name UploadEventLog.
