The Simple Modbus driver supports Analog Input and Analog Output points.
Analog points can be physical points that exist on Modbus PLCs, or calculated values that reside within Modbus registers.
Configure the properties for each analog point using the fields on the Simple Modbus Analog Point Form.
This section covers configuration of properties on the Modbus tab of the Form.
Use the Modbus tab to:
- Configure the Modbus Point Properties
- Configure Scaling Properties (see Scale Analog Values for use in Geo SCADA Expert in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Simple Drivers)
- Configure Significant Change Properties (see Define the Criteria for a Significant Change in Value in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration).
