Use the Refresh pick action to request an immediate update of the data that an ODBC Query is configured to retrieve.
With point data that is:
- retrieved using the Row & Column Lookup Method
- retrieved using the Value Lookup method, but for which timestamps are not extracted (as determined by the Point Form’s Timestamp Column property having a value of zero)
this pick action works in the same way as the Refresh pick action for items on other drivers (see Refresh in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Drivers).
With point data that is retrieved using the Value Lookup method and for which timestamps are extracted, each point will retain the timestamp that is extracted from the results table’s Timestamp column. The timestamps that are being extracted should be in UTC. (For such points, the Point Form’s Timestamp Column defines the location of the column that contains the point’s time stamps.)
