Configuring Analog Points
Use OPC XML-DA Analog Points to map analog ‘point’ data on OPC XML-DA servers into Geo SCADA Expert in a format that it can understand, and vice versa.
Configure the properties of each Analog point using the fields on the OPC XML-DA Analog Point Form.
This section covers configuration of the analog-specific properties on the OPC XML-DA tab of the Form.
Use the OPC XML-DA tab to:
- Configure Common Point Properties on the OPC XML-DA Tab
- Configure Point Scaling (see Scale Analog Values for use in Geo SCADA Expert in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Simple Drivers)
- Configure Significant Change Properties (see Define the Criteria for a Significant Change in Value in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Define which Configuration Properties are Retrieved from an OPC Source.
