Use the fields at the top of the Counter Point tab to Configure Common Point Properties. Fields that are specific to SCADAPack 50 counter points are described below:
- Point Identity—Specify the name of the device point that you want this Geo SCADA Expert counter point to represent. Select the option you require from the combo box.
ATTENTION:The Point Identity corresponds to the Var Name on the relevant device Channel (V1-V8). A device Channel is called a Point in Geo SCADA Expert. For more information, see the SCADAPack 50 device documentation.
- Multiplier—Specify the amount by which Geo SCADA Expert should multiply a value to covert it to an engineering value.
Example:
You might set the Multiplier to 0.1.
Geo SCADA Expert applies this scaling to produce an engineering value.
For example, to scale a value of 45, Geo SCADA Expert multiplies this value by 0.1. It then stores the result (that is, 4.5) in the Geo SCADA Expert database.
