The SCADAPack Modbus driver can send a Set Clock message to the broadcast address on an Advanced Modbus set (see Specify Whether a Set Broadcasts Set Clock Messages in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to the Advanced Modbus Driver). Such a broadcast simultaneously re-synchronizes the time on each of the SCADAPack Modbus controllers on the set.
This feature should not be used on sets that contain any Realflo controllers. (The Realflo method of setting a clock results in a Realflo controller restarting its current Hour log.) (For more information on Realflo, see the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to the SCADAPack Modbus Realflo Driver.)
