Two-Phase Detection (Liquid Flow Run)
The fields within this section of the Liquid tab display those properties that are associated with Liquids measurement.
You can configure these properties directly in Geo SCADA Expert, or read the configuration into the Geo SCADA Expert database (see Configure or Read the Flow Run Configuration).
- Two-Phase Detection Type—Use the combo box to enable Two-Phase detection and select the type of detection. You can select one of the following types:
- Realflo Algorithm Detection
- External Algorithm Detection.
- Two-Phase Detection Register—Only available if you select the External Algorithm Detection type and the Flow Run is on a Realflo controller on which the Firmware Type is set to an option other than x70 (see Specify the Firmware Type). Specify the register that is to be used. Valid values for the register are 1 to 3890 and 10001 to 14096.
- Input Object Name—Only available if you select the External Algorithm Detection type and the Flow Run is on a Realflo controller on which the Firmware Type is set to x70 (see Specify the Firmware Type). Specify the name of the two-phase input object in the Flow Computer I/O database.
Ensure that the name that is specified in this field exactly matches that of the relevant object that exists in the Realflo controller. The name can be a maximum of 32 characters long. It has to start with a letter or underscore character (_) and can only contain alphanumeric characters and underscores (_). It cannot contain consecutive underscore characters and is not case sensitive.
The following two fields are available if you select the Realflo Algorithm Detection type:
- Low Density Threshold—Use this field to define the low density threshold.
- Low Density Hysteresis—Use this field to define the low density hysteresis.
- Two-Phase Flow Time History—This allows you to select a custom Batch History.
