The Realflo extension driver provides the SCADAPack Modbus driver with extra functionality, enabling Geo SCADA Expert to monitor calculation data on Realflo-enabled SCADAPack devices. In order to monitor such data, the Realflo component has to be installed on each of the servers on your system (including any permanent standby servers), in addition to the SCADAPack Modbus component (for information on installing the latter component, see Confirm that the SCADAPack Modbus Server Component is Installed in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to the SCADAPack Modbus Driver).
Use the Add/Remove Programs function in the Windows® Control Panel to check whether the required components are installed.
The Realflo component is located in the Advanced Modbus branch of the Server group, in a branch off from its SCADAPack Modbus ‘parent’ driver component. To check that this component has been installed, ensure that the symbol to the left of the text Realflo does not have an X on it.
The Realflo extension driver is licensed separately to the SCADAPack Modbus driver.
If the component has an X on it, it means it is not currently installed. You will need to install it before you can configure Geo SCADA Expert to communicate with SCADAPack Modbus Realflo devices ((see Install a Driver in Geo SCADA Expert in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Drivers).
