ArcGIS Map Source

To configure a Map Source you use the Map Source tab of a Map Source form (see Configuring a Map Source).

This section describes the ArcGIS® Map Source.

ArcGIS is a geographic information system (GIS) for working with maps and geographic information. It is produced by the Envoronmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI), an international supplier of GIS software, web GIS and geodatabase management applications. ArcGIS map data is organized into layers, so that users can choose which layers they want to view or query. ClearSCADA provides access to ArcGIS mapping as layers for ClearSCADA composite maps. For more about map layers, see About ClearSCADA Maps.
