Mimic Update Problems

If a Mimic is not updating correctly, there may be:

You can use the DA Groups and DA Items tabs to check for inappropriate configuration—the tabs should show information for the values that are shown on the Mimic, and should update at the same time.

If the values on the Mimic do not correspond to the values in the DA Items category, you should check that the Mimic items have been configured correctly.

If the values on the Mimic correspond to those in the DA Items category, there may be communications or software failures.

If you are experiencing slow performance, but only with Mimics, you should contact Schneider Electric for advice. However, many aspects of ClearSCADA are affected by slow performance on the client, you should check for load problems and network issues (see Diagnose Client Performance Problems).
