This option is only available if:
- You are accessing an Object menu from ViewX (other than from the Database Bar)
- Your user account provides access to the Database Bar.
Select the Locate in Database Explorer option for ClearSCADA to display the Database Bar and highlight the item in the hierarchical ‘tree’ structure within that Explorer Bar.

You can also locate an item in the Database Bar by:
- Using the Locate command on the ViewX ribbon (see Display an Explorer Bar in ViewX)
- Selecting the Locate in Database Explorer option from a document's tab (see Context-Sensitive Menu (Document Tab)).
