This attribute indicates the number of unsolicited messages that the server has received from an outstation since the statistics were last reset.
You can reset the statistics using the Reset Poll Statistics pick action. If the poll statistics have been reset, two sets of Unsolicited Message Statistics attributes are displayed. The first displays the statistics since the last reset of poll statistics; the second displays the statistics between the previous two resets.
Example:
26 unsolicited messages received since 23/May/2004 11:36:49.255
If the statistics have been reset, a second entry will display statistics in the form:
145 unsolicited messages received between 23/Apr/2004 11:35:32.261 and 23/May/2004 11:36:49.255
Use this attribute in conjunction with the Enable Unsolicited Alarm and Unsolicited Event Reporting Status attributes to obtain information on the status of unsolicited message generation.
