Unsolicited Event Reporting Status
Associated with: DNP3 master outstations
This attribute lists the Event Classes for an outstation. It also indicates whether the outstation can generate unsolicited messages for each of those classes.
Information is displayed in this format:
Class 1: <Status>, Class 2: <Status>, Class 3: <Status>, Virtual Terminal: <Status>
Example:
Class 1: Enabled, Class 2: Disabled, Class 3: Disabled, Virtual Terminal: Enabled
(For an outstation that can generate unsolicited messages for Class 1 and Virtual Terminal events, but not for Class 2 or Class 3 events.)
Whether an outstation can generate unsolicited messages for a Class is initially specified on the Outstation Form (see Enable Unsolicited Message Generation and see Configure Virtual Terminal Support). These settings can be overridden at any time, using the Enable Unsolicited Events and Disable Unsolicited Events pick actions.
Use this attribute in conjunction with the Enable Unsolicited Alarm and Unsolicited Message Statistics attributes to obtain information on the status of unsolicited message generation.
