Geo SCADA Expert Configuration for Hilscher Devices on DeviceNet or PROFIBUS-DP Systems

In order for Geo SCADA Expert to communicate with Hilscher devices on a DeviceNet or PROFIBUS-DP system, you need to configure:

1. A Hilscher Board for each card that you want to scan on a Hilscher device (see Configuring a Hilscher Board).
2. A Hilscher IO Image Scanner for each type of data that you want to scan at a different location or different scan rate on a Hilscher device (see Configuring a Hilscher Scanner).
3. A Hilscher IO Image Point for each measuring instrument or control device that you want Geo SCADA Expert to monitor or control on a Hilscher device.

   Choose from:

   • Hilscher IO Image Analog Point (for analog input or output data)
   • Hilscher IO Image Digital Point (for digital input or output data).
