Geo SCADA Expert Configuration for Hilscher Devices on PROFIBUS-FMS Systems

In order for Geo SCADA Expert to communicate with Hilscher devices on a PROFIBUS-FMS system, you need to configure:

1. A Hilscher Board for each I/O board through which you want to scan an FMS device (see Configuring a Hilscher Board).
2. A Hilscher Profibus FMS Scanner for each type of data that you want to scan at a different location or different scan rate on an FMS device (see Configuring a Hilscher Scanner).
3. A Hilscher Profibus Point for each measuring instrument or control device that you want Geo SCADA Expert to monitor or control on an FMS device.

   Choose from:

   • Hilscher Profibus FMS Analog Point (for analog input or output data)
   • Hilscher Profibus FMS Digital Point (for digital input or output data).
