Simatic S7 channels are used to provide Geo SCADA Expert with additional connection information, so that the server can successfully communicate with Simatic S7 PLCs (see Communicating with Simatic S7 PLCs).
Specify the features for each channel by using the fields on the Simatic S7 Channel Form.
The Form has several tabs. This section explains the driver-specific fields on the:
- Channel tab (see Configure the Channel Properties)
- Primary Connection and Secondary Connection tabs (see Configure the Connection Properties).
