Serial Communications

For serial communications, Geo SCADA Expert uses channel(s) that have:

• An MPIvia serial adapter Connection Type, in order to communicate with the Simatic S7-300 or S7-400 series of PLCs.
• A PPIvia serial adapter Connection Type, in order to communicate with the Simatic S7-200 series of PLCs.
