Current Status
Associated with: Points
This status attribute displays information about a point’s current status.
Use the attribute in conjunction with other attributes, such as Current Value and Current Quality, to assess the reliability of the point’s data.
Possible Status values might include:
- Overridden at Master Station—Displayed if the point’s value is currently overridden at the server (master station). A point is overridden using the Override pick action. This indicates that the point value being used in ClearSCADA is a fixed value, rather than a ‘live’ value retrieved from the point’s source.
- Invalid Time—Only applies to points on Advanced Drivers. The time stamp associated with the latest reported point value was outside of the permitted Time Window (see Define the Point Data Time Window in the ClearSCADA Guide to Server Administration). ClearSCADA deems such data to be suspect and does not use that data to update the point.
An invalid time stamp might indicate a faulty or incorrect outstation clock.
- Data in the Future—Only applies to points on Advanced Drivers. The time stamp associated with the latest reported point value was ahead of the server time by more than the Maximum allowed clock drift (see Define the Maximum Outstation Clock Drift in the ClearSCADA Guide to Server Administration).
ClearSCADA still uses the data to update the point, but marks it as having a Future Data time stamp. Data with such a time stamp might indicate a faulty or incorrect outstation clock.
