Add an AVEVA Historic Data Export Item

You need to add a Geo SCADA Expert AVEVA Historic Data Export item for each historian to which you want to export data.

To add an AVEVA Historic Data Export item:

1. Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar).
2. In the Database Bar, right-click on the System or Group to which you want to add the new database item.
   A context-sensitive menu is displayed.
3. Select the Create New option.
   A further menu is displayed.
4. Select the Other option.
   A further menu is displayed.
5. Select the AVEVA Historic Data Export option.
   Geo SCADA Expert adds an AVEVA Historic Data Export item to the root of the System or to the Group you selected (depending on your selection in step 2). Geo SCADA Expert selects the database item automatically, ready for you to enter its name.
6. Enter a suitable name for the database item, taking into account the Geo SCADA Expert Naming Restrictions.
7. Press the Enter key or select another part of the ViewX interface to confirm the entry.
