Configure MQTT JSON Schema A Counter Points
With the MQTT JSON Schema A driver, you use:
- MQTT JSON Schema A Counter Points to retrieve accumulative data from a device that publishes that data to the broker. The data has to be associated with an MQTT topic to which Geo SCADA Expert has subscribed.
You configure the properties of each counter point using fields on the MQTT JSON Schema A Counter Point Form. The configuration Form contains many fields, organized into tabs. Most of these tabs contain properties that are common to points on many drivers (see Tabs on Point Forms in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Advanced Drivers).
The Counter Point tab includes properties that are specific to MQTT JSON Schema A Counter Points.
Use the Counter Point tab to:
- Configure the Common Point Properties
- Configure the Multiplier Value
- Configure the Alarm Limits
- Specify the Override Properties (see Define Whether a Counter-Type Point can be Overridden in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure the No Change Properties (Detect whether a Counter-Type Point has Stopped Changing in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Specify the Trend Properties (see Define a Counter-Type Point’s Trend Settings in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Specify the Point Formatting (see Define the Appearance of a Counter-Type Point’s Values in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Point Configuration)
- Configure the Logged Data Properties (see Specify the Type of Point Data that the Driver is to Store Historically).
