Displaying a Geo SCADA Expert Map
You can create single-layer maps or multi-layer composite maps in Geo SCADA Expert, from online or offline mapping sources, which you can then use for a variety of purposes. For example, you can display:
- The geographic location of items in the Geo SCADA Expert database
- Geographic information, such as weather data
- Polygon Regions.
Once you have created a map in Geo SCADA Expert (see Creating a Geo SCADA Expert Map), you can display it as follows:
- Display the Database Bar (see Display an Explorer Bar).
- In the Database Bar, either double-click on the Map Source or Map Set database item that represents the map you want to display, or right-click on the item. If you double-click, Geo SCADA Expert will then display the map. If you right-click, Geo SCADA Expert will display the Object menu. Select the Display Map Set or Display Map Source option as appropriate. Geo SCADA Expert will then display the map.
Display the Geographic Location of a Database Item
You can display the geographic location of a database item on a Geo SCADA Expert map (see Displaying the Geographic Location of a Database Item).
Display a Map in a Mimic
You can also display a map in a mimic. For more information, see Creating a Hyperlink to a Map in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Mimics.
