Use the relevant Display option to display the selected ‘file’ object, such as a Mimic, Report, or Trend, in Run mode. (Run mode provides access to the 'file' object's operational features (as opposed to Design mode, which is the mode in which engineers configure the 'file' object).)
With a ViewX client on a Multi-Monitor Setup, you may be able to select the name of the Window Container in which to display or edit a document. Each Window Container displays on a particular monitor by default. Such options are only available when you select certain Display... or Edit... pick actions from the Database Bar or Operator Documents Bar. For more information, see Ability to Specify the Window Container in which to Display or Edit a Document.
Depending on the part of the interface from where you select the Display option, the option name might also indicate the type of database item that will be displayed (for example, Display X-Y Plot). Both options perform the same function (they display the selected 'file' object in Run mode).
