You can use the Rename feature to change the name of a database item. This is especially useful for allocating a suitable name to a new item, or a copy of a database item.
You can rename a database item using one of two methods:
Both methods involve using the Database Bar.
If your system uses Areas of Interest (see Restrict Alarm and Event Access to Specific Areas of Interest), you can use the methods to Rename an Area of Interest. To do so, you would Display the Areas of Interest Bar, rather than the Database Bar.
To use the above procedures to rename a document in an Operator Document Store (see Setting up Operator Document Stores), you would display the Operator Documents Bar, rather than the Database Bar.
