Specify Whether a Download Configuration Request Requires Confirmation
Downloading the full configuration to a SCADAPack E outstation results in a cold reset of that outstation, once the download is complete.
Downloading the configuration that has changed since the last download may result in various applications restarting on the outstation, or a complete cold reset of the outstation, depending on the configuration changes (see Notes on Configuring SCADAPack E Outstations).
As such, you can choose whether a Download Configuration request requires confirmation before Geo SCADA Expert attempts to execute that request. This helps to ensure that such a request is not triggered unintentionally.
Use the Download Confirm combo box near the top of the SCADAPack tab to specify whether confirmation is required whenever a user selects the Download Configuration pick action.
For more information on the options that are available from this combo box, see Requesting Confirmation of Action Requests in the Geo SCADA Expert Guide to Core Configuration.
The Download Confirm field does not apply to automatic configuration downloads, which are initiated by the outstation (see Configure Automatic Configuration Download).
