This section only applies to SCADAPack E outstations that are used to route data between an X.29 Packet Assembler/Disassembler (PAD) and suitable remote packet-mode device(s) and/or other PAD(s).
To enable such functionality, at least one of the outstation’s serial ports has to have its Mode set to X.29 (see Configure the Properties of the Individual Ports).
Use the fields on the X.29/TC Comms tab of each DNP3 SCADAPack E Outstation Form to:
- Enable or Disable X.29/TC Comms Functionality
- Configure the Telemetry Computer Properties
- Configure the X.29 Parameters.
