Tabs on Accumulator Forms
Each Accumulator Form has a combination of these tabs:
- Identification—Use the fields on this tab to configure the Identification properties (see Defining Identification Details).
-
Location—Use to specify the item's geographical coordinates. (You need only configure the properties on this tab if your system uses ClearSCADA's Geographical Location features.)
- User Methods—Use the fields on this tab to define any custom pick actions (‘methods’) for an Accumulator (see Using the User Methods Tab to Define Custom Actions).
- Historic—Use the fields on this tab to specify any historic storage settings for an Accumulator. The properties on this tab are identical to those on the Historic tab of points that support historic storage (see Defining Historic Details for a Point in the ClearSCADA Guide to Core Point Configuration).
Historic values provide a record of the Accumulator’s data and are of particular use when monitoring the value of an Accumulator over time.
The Historic tab is only included on the relevant configuration Forms when the Historic Data feature is enabled on the server. The feature enables ClearSCADA to store data historically (see Historic Data Storage Settings).
If ClearSCADA is to store an Accumulator’s data historically and is to compress that historic data, be aware that ClearSCADA will not compress any Accumulator Updates to which Historic Data Compression Settings do not Apply.
- Reset—Use the fields on this tab to:
- Specify whether an Accumulator Continuously Sends Timed Reports and Resets its Value
- Specify an Accumulator’s Source
- Define the Appearance of an Accumulator’s Values
- Specify the Frequency with which ClearSCADA Stores Timed Report Values
- Specify the Period over which an Accumulator’s Value is Calculated
- Specify the Data that ClearSCADA Stores for an Accumulator.
- State—Applicable to Accumulators other than Integrator, Maximum, and Minimum. Use the fields on this tab to specify when an Accumulator value is to increment. The fields on the tab vary—depending on the type of Accumulator, you can use the fields to:
