Generic Modbus controllers support a combination of these point types:
- Generic Modbus Analog Input Points—see Configuring Analog Points.
- Generic Modbus Analog Output Points—see Configuring Analog Points.
- Generic Modbus Digital Input Points—see Configuring Digital Points.
- Generic Modbus Digital Output Points—see Configuring Digital Points.
- Generic String Points—see Configuring String Points.
- Generic Time Points—see Configuring Time Points.
You need to configure one point of the appropriate type per point on a controller. You configure the properties for each point using the appropriate Advanced Modbus Generic Point Form.
